At Damara Garland Floral Design, elegance is a language we speak fluently. From my private studio in Rose Bay, Nova Scotia — a coastal setting known for its quiet beauty and understated charm — I create floral experiences that feel both intimate and extraordinary.
My work is shaped by a lifelong devotion to flowers and refined through years as a jeweler. Before florals became my full expression, I worked with precious metals and stones, learning how detail, balance, and craftsmanship transform materials into meaningful art. That foundation continues to guide my floral practice today, influencing everything from sculptural installations to wearable floral pieces designed to feel as personal as fine jewelry.
Every design is bespoke. Each wedding, event, and custom floral creation begins with a thoughtful conversation — exploring palette, emotion, movement, and the story you wish to tell. One of my favourite things about floral design is creating a special story for each couple. Everything from the colour palette, to the flowers themselves, to utilizing special additions like flora from the couple’s property or precious family heirlooms.
When you work with us you’ll get a free consultation to talk through your design ideas, colour palette, and flower choices. From there, we'll work with you to develop your ideas and incorporate your individual style and personality, to turn your dreams into a reality.
As no two couples or celebrations are alike, we prefer to design our florals à la carte where you can pick and choose what suits you! Choose individual floral products such as bouquets, boutonnières, table arrangements and venue flowers to complete your custom vision.
